SpaceX launched its sixth test of its massive Starship under clear skies late Tuesday from South Texas on a mission to evaluate critical upgrades from its last successful test flight, as the goal of another Super Heavy booster "catch and reuse" was scrapped due to unfavorable conditions.

The company will try to catch the giant booster of its moon and Mars rocket for a second time on Tuesday afternoon.
