A wildfire burning in Hainesport Burlington County temporarily closed roads and threatened homes Monday into Tuesday as crews worked to keep the blaze contained.

The wildfire is burning in the area of Bancroft Lane and Cove Court. The New Jersey Forest Fire Service, Westampton Squad 2723 and Hainesport Volunteer Fire Company were all at the scene Monday. As of Monday at 11:00 p.m., the fire is 20 percent contained. Fire officials say 40 acres were impacted.
