SpaceX launched the sixth test flight of its Starship rocket on Tuesday, as the company looks to keep up momentum of the mammoth vehicle’s development.

Musk was a big supporter of Trump's campaign over the past few months, and the president-elect recently appointed the SpaceX founder and CEO to co-lead the new "Department of Government Efficiency," which aims to slash regulations and reduce government spending.

The launch is scheduled during a 30 minute window starting at 17:00 EST (22:00 GMT), weather permitting. And President-elect Donald Trump is heading to Texas to watch the launch.
